Dream Riders of Kentucky serves nearly 300 individuals each year through the following equine assisted activities.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding:
Dream Riders has been providing therapeutic horseback riding since 2003.  This type of non-traditional therapy provides a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities to improve the health of their bodies, minds, and spirit.  There are multiple physical benefits including increased balance, coordination, muscle strength, and posture.  We serve individuals with all types of disabilities, including those with cerebal palsy, Down syndrome, autism, epilepsy, neurological disorders, vision and hearing impairments, and orthopedic disabilities.

Carriage Program:
Beginning in 2009, Dream Riders began a carriage program, allowing us to serve individuals who are not able to participate in the riding program due to significant physical disabilities, limited mobility, excessive weight issues, and the elderly.
